This is how our Dutch mentality will help you

No nonsense, that's what we're known for. Let's keep it lean, honest and straight to the point. Saving time for all of us.

The Dutch are famous for their windmills, bikes, tall people, cows, flat landscapes and tolerant drug policy. But we're also well known for our efficient way of working. The saying 'time is money' expresses how the Dutch like to live and work. We use our time in an efficient manner. You can expect this Dutch mentality from us as well. Dutch being direct, open, honest and fun to work with.

Direct

In general, Dutch people are quite direct and love to be outspoken. At first, this could feel a little bit overwhelming, but when it comes down to doing business in an international environment, it has great benefits. The Dutch always say what they think and as a result, you get to the point quickly. Read everything about the Dutch working culture.
We like to challenge our clients while guiding them in finding the ideal hotel for your group with the best possible deal. We’re eager to fully understand your wishes and requirements and will need your input in order to achieve this. We’ll kick-off with a video call where we’ll ask you a few key questions. We want to avoid requesting unsuitable hotels and wasting time (remember: time is money). Nobody is waiting for that; not the hotels, not you and also not us (yep, we’re pretty direct).
Also, we’ll utilise our directness to get the best possible price from the hotels. The Dutch are also recognised for their good negotiation skills. We take care of the full negotiation process for you. Read here on which parts we’ll negotiate.

Open

The Dutch are direct and straight forward in their communication, as well as very open for conversations, discussions, opinions and enjoy receiving feedback. We highly values having an open relationship with both our customers and hotels. We see customers and hotels as friends, and we’ll always be open to our friends.

You should always ensure that your friends can easily find and approach you. You’ll get a dedicated account manager who you will be able to reach via multiple routes, whatever suits you best. Besides the traditional communication channels, every customer will get access to Slack (business chat tooling), to keep the communication flow easy and flexible.

Honest

The saying ‘honesty is the best policy’ suits the Dutch like a glove. It basically means that the truth will always come out and hence it’s better to be honest right from the start. This is exactly where things currently go wrong in the venue finding industry. The majority of the venue finders are not open about how they earn their money. They will tell you that they are paid by hotels based on the amount of events per year, but these agencies are simply paid per meeting.
We feel responsible to always be honest and are open about our earnings. For the customer bookings are always free of charge, whereas the hotel will pay us commission based on the customers’ booking (roughly 10%). Read here more about how commission works in the travel industry.
Good news for you: it’s almost always cheaper to book a conference or meeting via us than directly at the hotel. This is because we’ll request the hotels anonymously guaranteeing you a fair price.

Fun to work with

In addition to all these benefits of doing business with Dutch people, it’s also very nice to work with Dutch people. The Dutch are fun and love to socialise. You can expect all of this while we’ll help you to find the perfect hotel for your next conference or meeting.
